The Ministry of Christ

God's deliverance of Judah in the time of Hezekiah is a foreshadowing of our deliverance through the ministry of Christ. We, like them, were under an oppressive ruler due to our sin, we could put no hope in ourselves, we needed a mighty deliverer, and Jesus took on flesh to be the Savior King of those who trust alone in Him.
